Plan of attack

I was hoping to attack the kitchen with a vengeance tomorrow.

The kids go back to school and hubby will soon be back to work and finding his rhythm.

However, I realized while I have a goal and a plan, I really need a plan of attack. I need to figure out what to do first, next and so on.

So, at the moment, I’m trying to figure out where to start.

I think I’ve decided to start with the cabinets. As I stated in my kitchen game plan, I’m going to re-finish (re-face) my cabinets rather than put new ones in at the moment. I’m also painting the walls.

Now here is the kicker, do I take the doors and hardware off the cabinets, sand, prime and paint them (them being both the doors and the actual cabinets). Then paint the walls? Or do I reverse that and do the walls first?

If I was replacing the cabinets, I would obviously do the walls fist. But… I just don’t know. Is there a right way? Is there an easier way? Now I must research this ’cause once again, I’m just a bit OCD. ;-)
