Plan of attack (part two)
So, I researched and thought. Researched some more and planned some more.
OCD, remember?
Here are my thoughts:
If I paint the cabinets first, I’ll have nice white cabinets trimmed in blue. *blissful sigh*
Now I imagine me painting the walls and I get nice butter yellow paint on my nice, new white cabinets. ACK!
So, if I paint the walls first and I get butter yellow on the cabinets as they are, no biggie, I’m gonna sand, prime and paint them anyway.
Plus, it’s cold and windy and winter. I can work with the windows open indoors, but I need to do some cabinet work outside. I’d rather do that when it’s a bit warmer I think.
So, my plan of attack for the kitchen is to start with the walls and work on the inside of the cabinets (de-cluttering and organizing). Then as I finish with those, and it warms up a hair, I will do the cabinets.
