Just about every morning, I am greeted by beautiful landscape pictures. I wish I could say I look out my door to see them, but I don’t. Instead I open my twitter account and view the most recent photographs Kent Lorentzen, a fellow shopkeeper has taken.

I’ll wait while you browse some of his photo tweets. *Sips tea and waits patiently*

Gorgeous, huh? I’m not sure which I’m more jealous of his talent or his scenery. Perhaps both equally.

I started with this pretty river shot because his dog, Raven, looks just like my dog, Gutter.

Newsweek prints and gifts

Just in time for the holiday season, Newsweek has opened up a Zazzle shop to sell reprints and posters of its covers.

This is awesome news for news geeks like myself. One day I’d love to see my office walls covered with inspirational and meaningful magazine cover prints. Of course that would mean I’d need an actual office and not just a desk jammed in a corner with a huge pc and printer.

I’m not going to go through all of the back issues and cover prints they have, but here are a few of my favorites (and hopefully some of yours as well):

Edward Kennedy commemorative Newsweek cover print.

A cover print (or a Newsweek back issue) of the commemorative issue of Newsweek in honor of Ted Kennedy.

A Newsweek back issue reprint or cover print of the Obama inauguration.

Newsweek Commemorative Barack Obama Inaugural Edition.

Here’s a back issue of Newsweek about Michael Jackson (with an adorable picture of him as a child I might add).

Official KISS t-shirts and gifts

OMG!

I don’t talk in IM often, but this is really an OH-my-goodness moment.

I was looking for some t-shirts for another project when I stumbled upon an artist (or artists) at Zazzle that make me very happy. My husband and I love the band KISS. He likes harder rock than I normally, but KISS is one of the bands we both agree simply ROCK!

And I found official KISS t-shirts and stuff at Zazzle.

Here are some of my faves.

This one is my favorite by far. I think I’m gonna have to buy two: one for me and one for my hubby.

This one (available in black or white) is my second fave. Perhaps I’ll buy this one for hubby and the other one for me.

Brev87 is simply an amazing artist. When I first saw his artwork, I was left breathless, literally.

My husband and I have very different tastes… on most things. But when he saw Brev’s work, he was astonished as well. As were my teen girls. His t-shirt designs reach just about everyone, in some way.

Brenda Boo’s Bootique

Every once in a while, I will stumble upon an artist that simply blows me away. Brenda Boo is one of those artists. Her artwork is adorable yet edgy, dark yet classy… simply put amazing.

The Bootique has an animal art line that will make you laugh out loud. These animals are a bit quirky, cute as buttons and will make you giggle at least a little. Browse some of her artwork and tell me you don’t adore these babies.
